Renowned interior designer Matthew Patrick Smyth brings his unique sense of
classic style and elegance to Schumacher. This stunning new collection of wovens
and prints is based on traditional motifs derived from Matthew’s favorite
furnishings, couture apparel and antique textiles, including a number designs
he discovered while combing the archives of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs
in Paris. The collection includes shimmering silks, detailed embroideries,
soft chenille weaves, graphic plaids and textural linen prints, each intermingling
in shades of chocolate, ivory, graphite, aqua and taupe, with rich blue and
red accents.
