Design Inspiration
Shibori is a traditional Japanese textile technique of pleating and dyeing, which was the inspiration for this new modern woven design. This all silk quality has been woven on a jacquard loom, using a complex pocket weave (or double cloth) in the motif to create the look of a pleated, tie-dyed fabric in a pattern of concentric circles. The result is a dimensional motif that has a pleated or embossed appearance with a lustrous shimmer. In a range of metallic inspired neutrals and exotic colorations, this is a perfect coordinating pattern, useable for many applications.
