Schumacher and The
Colonial Williamsburg Foundation co-hosted a panel discussion
on how the influence of 18th century design shapes today’s architecture,
interiors and textiles in the South. Panelist included Lynne Diak
Hastings Curator of print and wallpaper, The Colonial Williamsburg
Foundation; Frances Schultz, author and contributing editor to Veranda
and House Beautiful magazines; and Russell Versaci, Architect
and author.
Excecutive Chef Rhys Lewis provided a southern lunch inspired by
the great entertaining and culinary traditions of Colonial Williamsburg.
A book singing by Frances Schultz and Russell Versaci was held preceding
the luncheon.
